Does anyone see ethical differences between embryonic and "adult" (non-embryonic) stem cells, or do you believe that all of them should be used in research?
Well, with ESCR it is the case that some people see human embryos as being being equal to an infant or a fully grown person. I myself don't see the equivalence. At best one can argue that a human embryo has the potential to reach that status, but then again, so can a human female egg or human sperm.
And foorth they passe, with pleasure forward led, Ioying to heare the birdes sweete harmony, Which therein shrouded from the tempest dred, Seemd in their song to scorne the cruell sky. -- Edmund Spenser, The Faerie Queene, Canto I
