Stem Cell Research

Here's a first: a British research team has grown part of a human heart from stem cells.

What do people think of stem cell research applications like this?

Does anyone see ethical differences between embryonic and "adult" (non-embryonic) stem cells, or do you believe that all of them should be used in research?

Well, with ESCR it is the case that some people see human embryos as being being equal to an infant or a fully grown person. I myself don't see the equivalence. At best one can argue that a human embryo has the potential to reach that status, but then again, so can a human female egg or human sperm.
